Viscorp is out of the running as far as anyone can tell. QuickPak and THREE
other unknown companies are rumoured to have
entered bids for the Amiga. The closing date
for these bids was late Feb 1997. We wait with
bated breath for the results.

Gateway announce at WOA show that a new version of Workbench will appear
before the end of this year! Hmm. They will licence the Amiga technology
to other parties! Hmm, Hmm. Support the existing Amiga community, whatever
that means exactly is open to interpretation, but sounds ok to me!

F1 Licenceware sold to 5th Dimension Software. Following weeks of talks the
deal was signed this month and all of F1's assets were transfered to 5th
Dimension who's head quarters are in South Yorkshire. A new company as been
created called F1 Software which will include the original F1 collection,
the original 5D collection, 1000's of Amiga PD titles, plus CDRoms, and
many other great Amiga products. If it's Amiga we know about it!!

F1 Software now available from two outlets in the United States. This new
move allows American Amiga users to get their hands onto hundreds of top
titles without having to spend a small fortune on shipping costs to Europe.
Sagittarius Software have sold our 5th Dimension range for over a year and
welcomed the move into F1. Steve Ocepek the owner of Sagittarius said "The
new range is brilliant and should appeal to all users, young and old".
Our newest distributor is Andrew Kellett of Mushroom PD. Andy is famous for
his AMOS PD library, which now boasts the largest collection of AMOS titles
and source code in the world!! He is also an active member of Team Amiga,
supporting the machine 100%.
